I’ll start by warning you that most of this book is laying out foundations for the future books, but it’s totally worth it! The magic system is incredibly unique, and the MC is relatable, stubborn, relatively intelligent, and not underpowered. Think of the MC like the shield hero guy, that might be the closest anime reference. it’s great, and I’m moving onto the next one.
