This book absolutely blew me away. Right from the start it grips you and starts to pull you in. The interplay of the characters and the roles within the VR world and then the development into the real world was seamless. The story only continues to develop and get better as time goes on.
I loved the characters and the way they develop with the story is phenomenal. Every character grows as time goes on as you find out more and learn things about them that causes you to strengthen your connection with them.
The RPG element is really organic and not in your face like some. The story stands up for itself and is the star of the show.
The performance is perfect drawing on the essence of the characters and giving a level of emotion that is hard to beat.
Once again each character is crafted and individual, you never feel unsure of which character is speaking.
I cannot wait to see the next instalment of this book series as I can see it climbing the list of my favourite books.
