I really liked the setting, but somehow this isn’t one of my favorite entries.
It feels like the banter between our main characters has been a bit exhausted. That’s why I adored book 5, with Cal in a new environment with new characters to bounce his ‘calness’ off of.
I also feel like I need a bit more seriousness/ believability/ character development thrown in with the humor and craziness.
