This was my first Cora Kenborn’s book, and won’t be my last. This is the first book in The Carrera Cartel Series, an amazing dark mafia romance. Valentin and Eden’s story is suspenseful, filled with danger, violence, action, and twists and turns. Valentin is dark, ruthless, and powerful. Eden is strong, determined, independent, and brave. The impressive cast of supporting characters is intriguing. The world building and the storyline are intricate and enthralling. Impossible to put it down. I HIGHLY recommend it! Brian Pallino, Sarah Puckett and Alan Carlson did a wonderful job with the narration. I am looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series, Faded Gray Lines, Mateo’s story. #AudiobookObsessionVIP
