Karen Chance composes such phenomenal stories. Each book is more than just one plot-line, one climax, one conclusion. They are complex, intertwined, and they explore corners of universes that are unimaginable to the layman.
This book blew me away. I had stopped listening a time ago waiting for its release. When it was released, I restarted the series and I’m now moving on. I am unable to listen to one book in the series without immediately moving onto the next because these characters bind with you. You can relate to each character in one way or another and you become invested in their fate. I hope Ms. Chance never stops writing because she is a truly miraculous master of constructing fantastical stories.
