A lot of people complained about the characters lacking depth, or that’s it’s “nothing like firefly”.. but the real complaint should have been all the self righteous religious crap from one cast member aboard the crew. Who, for some reason slowly evolves to be the most powerful and prominent member of the crew. She became so annoying, and hypocritically intolerable I gave up on this very fun series with only 7 hours left to go! Sad, perhaps.. But in this way I will have enjoyed most of this omnibus and I can then imagine (spoiler alert) that my favorite character Mort is back with a vengeance and that the crew sends Esper out of the airlock. Good riddance~
