What did you love best about Dangerous?
I loved watching Blaine fall for Mira without realizing that it’s happening. The level of fury and denial that Blaine and Mira have about how much they want and care for each other, makes it all the sweeter when they both finally give in and admit their feelings. There’s a nice build up, and a learning curve for Blaine. At times, he really is dense, but when Mira’s life is at stake—no holds barred.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Dangerous?
Their wedding night…duh!
What does Rachel Hine and Joel Froomkin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I loved hearing a man read the chapters from Blaine’s point of view! Joel Froomkin’s narration adds natural sexiness and an edge of danger to Blaine lines. He also does a bang-up job in getting Blaine’s humor and sarcasm to come to life. Some narrators can’t pull off reading lines by the opposite sex, but these two did. Also, I was pleasantly surprised how Rachel Hines brought Blaine to life and how she added extra emotion and sexiness to his role.
Any additional comments?
Blaine isn’t a bad boy because he has tats, a hard, muscled body and looks dangerous. He’s the real thing– a criminal and a killer and everything Mira ran from. The next book is about Blaine’s brother, Marcus. I think the one about his twin brothers is after that.
