This book what’s devastating and exhilarating and then at time frustrating, but very relatable. This author knows how to invoke so many emotions- she’s excellent at this. I don’t typically love books that make me sad in the real world… but the way JLA tells the stories makes me want to keep reading and makes me want to spend more and more time with the characters- I get invested! This is a great book that I feel my teens should listen to because of the lessons learned and the detail in which the author takes us through the emotional and healing journey people go through… it’s because of the emotional ups and downs the book created in me that I don’t think I want to listen to it again for a long time…but it is good…iykyk.
