I have very strong feelings and emotions about this story, and I believe all good stories do. This is a heartbreaking look at reality of how the system can fail people. It churns you out and throws you to the wolves and leaves you to picked apart by anyone and everyone. Would Wavy have survived her childhood without Kellen…no probably not. But the fact that she was taken advantage of is so sickening and real (not all heroa are heros 100% of the time)… This story is a mirror to REAL LIFE. If you’ve never seen it before you are blessed or naive and if it makes your skin crawl then good, it should.
