This book is incredibly disjointed. First, he doesn’t even get to the actual case the book is supposed to be about until chapter 4. Second, for the rest of the book, he jumps around and intersperses unrelated cases for seemingly no reason. Third, he intersects some really bad theology (for example, “all children go to heaven”, because ostensibly they are incapable of evil). Then he apologizes for bringing faith into this. Both of those things are frustrating. He also trashes the public for speculating on the case, but most of the book he’s doing the same thing. I do think the narrator did a good job, but for a mere 6 hour read from a podcaster, he should narrate it himself, IMO.
