Unlike others I didn’t enjoy this book as much as it’s predecessors. The story line jumps all over the place it’s interesting that Carl constantly has to adapt to changing circumstances but would it hurt to have him stick to one thing long enough to finish it? To much jumping around I thought when it was just carl and donut, that the author was going to move away from getting bogged down by the extra baggage (a.k.a to many characters). But instead if anything this book was the most deluted so far encumpacing way to many other character issues.
I liked the book but got bored and frustrated. Still a great read even if in my mind I constantly find myself wanting to back seat author the thing.
