Talk about world catastrophes. How do you truly decide where to live when something awful is happening all over? So obviously you stay put and fight this battle hoping for the best. That’s what this family did. They stayed where they were, adjusted their lifestyle with the “disaster” they were dealt and were going to do what everyone else did and just act like this was how life was moving one until it hit home. Then it was time to fight back. Trial and error and heartbreak, but these two twins had years of training that they didn’t realize they had until they needed it from two physicist parents. They wanted their kids to be prepared. And boy were they ever. They they find help in the most unlikely of places at the time they would need it the most.
On a personal note, I found this to be an amazing listen that I couldn’t wait to get back to. The author had every detail covered and had me feeling like it had to be quiet as well when the twins were. Loved seeing these two characters grow and learn and move things around, but mostly how they worked together. They knew they only had each other left and they made decisions together because it would effect the other just as much. they were wise beyond their years.
I don’t recognize the narrator but he did a fantastic job with this one. I really enjoyed him and look forward to hearing him in the next book.
