Again, this narrator is absolutely great!
Lena and five other women escaped from sex slave traffickers several years ago and are hiding out on a space station in the sewers. She hears a rumor about a Trivator warrior being held as a prisoner there too. Lena and the women do not know how to fly a spaceship so they decide to try to rescue the Trivator and have him fly them home.
Edge has been a prisoner for around 5 years. The waxians have begun filling him full of drugs that are slowly killing him in order to get information about the ruling family and his planet. The drugs seem to be making him insane because he wants to die but a goddess has decided to try to save him.
I love Lena’s strong personality. There is tension between Lena and Edge that stems from the past but also the sexual tension because Lena is his Amatay.
