I have completed all audio books available at this time, by this author. The 10th ward is my favorite.
The story is consistent with others by the author. Good base characters. However, the back story has a few holes, but easy to over look. I do not feel the holes were detrimental to the storyline. It was worth the credit I spent on it and entertained me. This is a stand alone book, and as with his other stand alone I wish it contained more detail. Take a little time and paint me in to the room. Only annoyance was weak female characters. Again as a mother I find his portrayal of weak, idol, stand by mother’s frustrating at times.
Narrations was appropriate and fit with the character. No complaints.
