*** Parents: Due to content level this series would probably be in the R range for movies. While the bad language was mild, there was pretty disruptive gore in the action scenes, lots of sexualized scenes and content throughout- naked bodies, descriptions of breasts, “flags raising” and being grabbed, groping, attempted rape, mentions of horing, and being used for pleasure.
Warnings aside this was an action packed and fun adventure that deals with magicians, elves, drow, pirates and assassins. There’s intrigue with twists and turns that keep you highly engaged in the story. Those that like epic fantasy, like a mix of The Lord of the Rings and the tv show Reign. It’s definitely geared towards a more adult crowd and lots of fun.
The narrator did a great job with all the voice differentiation and acting, although I did have to speed it up to 1.3 x speed because it just felt a little slow.
