I couln’t stop listening to this. I’ve read other books by this author but this was just amazing. Kit and Ethan are technically step-brothers and there is a lot of history between them. Kit is a historian and ends up in trouble with an ancient artifact. This leads to an expedition into the Mexican jungle before it’s too late. Kit’s grandfather insist Ethan tags along to keep Kit safe. Unbeknownst to either of them, they are both harboring long time crushes on each other. They come to realize this during the next few months together in their journey. This has action, adventure, some weird magic and an HEA. Joel Leslie does an amazing job as usual!
