It was amazing. Wholly original and unafraid to be so. Interesting twists and never dulls. Ever. Also wraps in to the over-arching meta plot woven into almost all Robinson books. As in each book is a book in its own right, but
also a part of a much larger whole. This book was especially relevant to that meta storyline thats also very apparent in Infinite. One of the most enjoyable audiobooks I’ve listened to in awhile. I thought the subject matter would be one-dimensional; it was anything but. Wow. If you like any of Robinson’s books you’ll love this. Any detractors were probably just offended for petty reasons concerning theology. Also, to top it off, R.C. Bray narrates all of Robinson’s books with perfect aplomb, but especially this one with the varied cast and all. Its just a lot of fun, and fairly thought provoking too. Enjoy it.
