it was a trip to the old sci-fi books I used to read as a kid, the story built up at a perfect pace nothing seemed “too over the top” there certainly was a lot of over the top but it never felt like it was disengaging from the story, the characters felt lively and even the mecha seemed real. would recommend to friends and have done so
