Absolutely fantastic.

This is a deep delve into the mind and actions of Vincent Van Gogh. The authors draw the material from an extensive collection of primary sources including letters written by Vincent himself. I came in with preconceived notions about what made Vincent tick, but throughout my reading I had to constantly reevaluate what I thought I knew. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
