Absolutely Awful.

I make it a point to listen through every book I buy, but I had to draw the line somewhere. this book was just awful and more than a chore to listen to. I kept thinking “OK, but it will get better…”

No. No it didn’t.

Video Game-like- novels? Cool. Anime-esq literature? Great.

This book was like someone tried to force Naruto, Final Fantasy, and Phantasy Star into one book and failed at it.

Clearly, this book appealed to people, but I’d honestly suggest you skip it or grab it on discount or as an Included story.
