This has been a fantastic listen overall. There were story beats that didn’t add up, unfinished plot threads and a few possible consistency flaws, but few series have kept me half as enthralled for even half the content. After 80 hours with the crew and universe of the Black Ocean it was bitter sweet to see it end, so I was ecstatic to see that it continues in two spin off series. If you are a fan of sci fi, fantasy, and the constantly flawed get rich quick schemes of outlaws and misfits then you will enjoy this series as much as I have.
