If you ever want to feel better about your own sanity, read this book. The narration and the work that went into authoring the book are superb. The author gives an almost god-like view of a lot of minutia of the many characters in this theater. I’ve read very few books that were as sad and horrifying and downright mind-bending as this book. The book, in my opinion, is full of so many bad guys… from the early victims who just didn’t want to mention anything to to his crazy, naive, enabling parents to Kevin Coe himself. It’s a terrible story, but you also are left feeling how terrible it would be to have been born Kevin Coe with his mental issues and his smothering mother. It’s a huge orchestra of madness.
