At first I was starting to feel as though parts of the story were forcing dramatic explanations by constantly repeating the same thing over and over again and just putting more emphasis on the subject matter each time he repeated it.
Yet later on after the first few chapters, it gets really good. I enjoy the dry humor a great deal. Though the humor may be unintentional. This book is a mixture of Starship Troopers meets Enders Game and had love triangle with some kind of anime series.
How lucky the main character (Marko) gets with the ladies seems a bit unrealistic for the enviroment they are in and boot camp is portrayed in the book also feels ocward. All that aside, I enjoyed this book immensely and have just recently purchased the second book. The last few chapters were really insane and It felt like the first Starship Troopers movie, where they just landed on the arachnids world and started battling it out.
Good Buy and would listen to it again.
