The Last Warrior of Unigaea is a fun and entertaining book, which I had listened to. The main characters are memorable, including the wolf with teams up with the main character. And the giant is my favorite. Although the game world is interesting, the setting is kind of confusing. The story heavily focuses only in the game world, and I never get to learn what is going on in the real world. I also never understand how the game works and how people play it. The main character said he pre-logged, but I never understand what it is. Plus the story falls into the epic fantasy trope where the main character gets chosen by a higher power to save the world. Spoilers: He means the computer A.I who runs the game, and she sends him and his friends on a quest to stop a source code bomb, which is going to destroy the game. That part is interesting, but why can’t the designers or security solve the problem, instead of the computer choosing a random player to save the world. And the ending doesn’t make any sense too. Seeing the world as a virtual MMORPG made me question that story flaw. But overall, it is a great entertaining story for litrpg fans. If you don’t care about the plot holes in this story, then you will enjoy it.
