Exactly as the title says a war story. The lead up to war, the fighting in war, and the survival in the aftermath of war. A very good listen.
The only negative things I can say, is all the use of honorifics made it very annoying in the beginning, also the different terms for measurements. Even though it is annoying, you can get used to it.
Also I felt myself not caring for the flashbacks at all. At the point of the story they came at felt irrelevant.
