MMy Thoughts and Review:
I was honestly a wee smidge confused at the beginning. There was a teensy backstory I am assuming from the alpha bits. I haven’t read the series yet, don’t let Susi or Crista know, ?. I will get to it eventually.
Anyway, after that initial bit of confusion things began to meld together. In true Hawke and Crown fashion this is an awesome rabbit hole to fall down!
As the reader tumbles and finally lands there are so many different things going on at once the reader becomes a bit giddy, like a kid in a sugar high.
With child abductions, feuding mafia families, omegas who refuse to mate with their fated, snarky banter, HAWT sMMexy times, it’s like walking through Wonka’s candy factory for those who live for these types of series.
It is filled with action, bear shifters who are also a prominent mafia family, one cat shifter omega fated to one of the bears who just happens to be a deadly enforcer, and one sweet little shifter caught in the middle of it all. A war could be on the horizon, if a truce isn’t had and little Petey found. Heck a war might happen just for “funzies” with this crowd!???
This was great fun to listen to, and narrator did an exceptional job on the narration. His Russian and Ukrainian accents were great! ? But, River’s voice… **sigh… That was totally swoon worthy.???
