I’ll admit that at first I was caught off guard by the tone of this book. I’ve never read or listened to something about superheroes that wasn’t from the perspective of someone obsessed with justice. Overall I would say this book was refreshing. I enjoyed the humor and was on edge during the battles. After a few chapters I could visualize the words clearly and at times forgot it was a book rather than a movie, a quality I enjoy very much. I was sad to reach the end, but delighted with how it was written. It’s a story that I am hoping will reach the eyes and ears of Marvel or DC. Or maybe it will be separated entirely from the two. I’d just like for it to receive more attention.
