A rash protagonist finds himself in a world of virtual complexity and has to help the people around him grow in order to protect a small village (Which will inturn protect the universe…that sounds cheesy, but I promise it’s written in a way that actually makes sense).

This book stands out because of the level of growth amongst EVERYONE. The MC grows in maturity just as much as he grows in levels, the side characters both have and increase in depth, making them all seem important. Watch the village, as a whole, grow through all the hard work is rewarding as well.

My only gripe (which is a personal pet-peeve, and by no means a form of bad writing) was how difficult it was to put up with the MC in the beginning. The MC even acknowledges his shortcomings and soon overcomes them, making the growth even more apparent…after succumbing to those shortcomings a few times XD

The narrators were phenomenal and with a well developing story, this series is shaping to be a great one. Overall, this a good start to what’s looking to be a really interesting series.
