A friend told me about this series. He didn’t tell me much. Only that I’d like it, and “no seriously dude, you gotta check this out.” So I did.
I’d not had an audible account and figured I’d do the trial and check out book one.
I was all in from the first moment. Jeff Hays wonderful voice acting felt like the narrator from “A Christmas Story” and the cast of The Big Lebowski were put in a fae blender and made into something smooth and drinkable.
The tale itself is a blending of the old we love and new all at once. Obviously this is done by design but it is done quite well.
I eagerly anticipate my chance to continue the series.
I’m hooked…
