Never read/listened to anything by Charles L Grant, or listened to anything narrated by Travis Baldtree, but that will change – this is a superb introduction to their work. The narrator described it as “Southern Noir”
It is gripping and yet portrays that slow easy style so typical of the south.
The writing style and the narration make you feel as if your there in the heat and a party to the unfolding events.

Highly highly recommend this audiobook a 5* listen.
