First off I really enjoyed the narrator. Easy to listen to and each character was unique.
As far as the story goes I wouldn’t say it’s a genre breaker that will break away from standard. Instead it stands firm in time honored science fiction tropes while also developing characters that are unique, flawed and ultimately lovable. I cant express enough how enjoyable it was to be whisked away into this world to find a familiar yet wacky universe.
If I wished something were different it would be that we saw more of the black ocean instead of revisiting the past quite often. Also, I wish the Tanny and Marie storyline was different but that may be just me.
