Where Star Fire was a little slow to start, Star Kill hit the ground at sprint and never slowed down. Picking up direct from the end of book one, we are again given a view of our Alliance and Commune “heroes” as they seek out aid to warn their governments of the Banshee threat.

The story stays gripping, even during the more relaxed events, as Forbes masterfully paints us a Sci-fi masterpiece. Character development is top shelf, and the introduction of new characters is done well, especially with the unexpected little hero of the story, a personal new favorite character I hope we see more of.

As was in the first book, the narration is fantastic, which was expected with the role not being changed. I wish I could find a fault in this book, as I dont want to sound like I’m just giving lip service, but I honestly cant. I loved every second from “cover to cover”.

This series is a must have, and M.R. Forbes is quite possibly the finest sci-fi author you may not have heard about before. A true 10/10 all around
