I went on an apocalyptic tear and purchased the first book in several series. from zombies to EMP (and its clones). I would say this book is better than most, but has its drawbacks. My main complaint is with one of the female characters. Which is probably intentional from the authors standpoint. but really, how stupid can one character be? bad decision, after bad decision… but other than that, the story-line holds together, and narration is OK. Guys does voices really well, but his ‘normal’ voice took me a bit to adjust to. There are two more hours to go in the book, and I have yet to decide whether to finish. I really just do not care how female idiot ends up….
