I wish audible gave us more granularity than only 5 stars. I liked Voice of Mars more than the 4 star rating I gave the prior Hand of Mars, but still don’t feel like it deserves to be in the same 5 star category as my most favorite books. The ongoing mystery of who is behind the ship attacks holds together the overall story between the action better than the more uneven pacing of the prior book. The intensity is down a bit here, but is much more consistent.

The only criticism I have is that nothing truly great stands out. This is just a good enjoyable listen and well worth your credit.
