the book is doing a nice job of describing ownership and different ways on which it is part of an ongoing power struggle, it is to American-centric, and a bit shallow – now that we understand the rather ready to explain models of claiming ownership, what are we to do with it? it also jumps blindly between what I’ll call “original ownership” to an owner selling some aspect of the resource and testing them both the same way
