I had high hopes for this one. I haven’t read very many sapphic books prior so I was excited about this romance.
But I felt like I was waiting, and waiting, and waiting for anything to actually happen between the two. I don’t even consider it a slow burn because other than a few tiny moments their relationship didn’t scream attraction.
Also, I was hoping for some F/F smut. There was one scene that was a small, bit smutty, but not enough. Oh, and placing said scene…
It felt like it was just suddenly wrapped up quickly after being drug out forever.
As for the Narrators, I don’t have much to say except the woman voicing Emma sounded amazing when she wasn’t talking as if she was Emma.
