a slow but ok "thriller"

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

So, this book was slow for most of the story. It did pick up a little towards the end, but I had kind of already lost interest by that point, so I would hardly call it a thriller. I thought the "cultural" references were over the top. The whole Steve Jobz name thing was pointless and added nothing to the story. I didn’t care for the whole "disgraced white cop shot who a person of color" thing. I didn’t think that was in good taste or relevant to the story.
