I wasn’t sure what to think when I first heard about this book & the sample narration before I purchased it. However, my faith is in Mr Blain or Hunter as some are allowed to call him, knew that if his Preternatural Chronicles series was solid, then there was no reason why this shouldn’t be good as well. At first initial listen, the pace felt like it was a little slow or lumbering. However.. it did begin to pick up as things went along & I was glad to consume a few chapters before bed when I remembered to pick the book back up or in my case, press play. I hope everyone enjoys this book as much as I did if not more.
