This was not what I expected. The female is strong, and resilient. Love the fact that no matter what every time she talked to herself she wasn’t downsizing herself, hard to find lately in shifter books. This is a shifter world with many characters and an ok world building, where the men are the dominant force until the Alfa mate bond clicks and the story gets very interesting. A lot of drama and action some mystery and yes a little bit of steam nothing overwhelming. A happy ending and even hints on what will come next on book two. Many possibility’s. Oh and I loved the fact that this wasn’t a cliffhanger.
