I really wasn’t sure if I would be able to get into this book or not. Reading a variety of different genres often makes reading more enjoyable so I thought I would give it a shot.
This first book in the series focuses on the back story of the alien invasion and the main characters military basic training. Although this sounds fairly straight forward and has been done before, it was actually very enjoyable to read and kept me engaged throughout.
