This is a nice little story. I’ve listened to the author’s reading of an abridged version of the novella. I wanted to see if having it unabridged and read by a professional audio book would make a difference. It does. I like the idea of a book being read by its author but I find the results to usually be subpar.
I also wanted to listen to the book in preparation for listening to Scarlet Gospel.
