I figured I’d enjoy this story just based on the narrator. Mr. Kafer is one of my favorite narrators to listen to. I know his titles will be perfect for a shared car ride with my spouse.
This is the first title in my library by author Rebecca Cantrell and I’ve already added the next 3 Tesla novels! Cantrell creates fresh characters and a really cool look at the underground tunnel system beneath NYC. Tesla is a new kind of hero in my mind. He’s geeky, compassionate and has a nose for uncovering mysteries. Both my husband and I enjoyed this character. This 1st book was an excellent start to the series. We look forward to diving into the second book as soon as possible.
Jeffrey Kafer is excellent for this genre. His no nonsense delivery has just the right edge to give our hero some character strength. Kafer doesn’t disappoint in introducing another author for my library.
