Jeremy Robinson is an up-close magician of the writing world. He has you looking one way while setting you up for something amazing.

Robinson does a great job of creating a slow burn so that the reader picks up on what is going on in the story slowly as to not get ahead and guess what’s coming next. He also does a masterful job of placing monkey wrenches right in the way of the readers thinking to keep them from seeing what’s going to happen next before he wants them to. I enjoyed the family aspect of the story and I am sure that how things are handled are the deepest wishes that a lot of folks would want to come through. On top of the great story is a fan service of time travel. sci-fi, and history. Well worth your token.

Jeffrey Kafer delivers nothing less than one would expect from a decorated professional narrator and I think that his pairing with Robinson is one of the best dynamic duos of the audiobook format. Kafer adds a variety of character voices and nuance to the story that not only makes it enjoyable to read but impactful, as well, in just the right spots.
