I like the idea of free books especially because I have no self control when listening to stories as opposed to holding the words in hands. But These are important reads and ones I’ll keep. Okay dokie, I’ve never heard of Bently Little but King tapped it so I’ll try it. Not much scares me and I do love mystery ‘s, thrillers, crime etc.
I just finished the most depressing mess with the most lackluster Ensemble of pathetic characters who put each other to sleep.All towns have pockets poor people , some have one terrible parent, drunk mean and piggy, some have had terrible unspeakable murders
and maybe one might have a police department that makes Mayberry look like The FBI but in this town that’s all you get. And they’re all at the mercy of a mongoloid child and his bat shit crazy mother.
It could have been written by town bully with an imagination of how to torture folks like Genghis Khan and an eight-year-old.
Maybe I just got the one rotten apple in the basket of such prolific
works
