This was an interesting read. I am trying to think if I have ever read a romance between a dragon and a mermaid and I don’t think I’ve ever read one. So that was exciting. But this book did take awhile to get into. Almost half the book was Argun( the dragon) and Cirona trying to escape a prison of some kind. And a lot of that was them trying to figure out if they should help each other or not. So that was tedious. But the second half of the book was great! So I do recommend this one but you do have to push past some boring parts. And I will say that their dialogue during the boring parts was pretty funny.
The narration was okay… it wasn’t my favorite but it wasn’t terrible either. The only real issue I had was that there wasn’t a difference between characters which makes it hard to follow sometimes.
