There was a point in this when I thought, “Yes! The horror story has started! Now it’s going to get interesting!” I was wrong. The main character is one of those moron chicks who doesn’t believe what she sees and hears and insists her mother is just playing a trick (avoiding spoilers, but it’s so dumb I was yelling out loud at her). It was a daily deal and I wasn’t expecting anything great, but it’s not horror or clever or a study of a difficult mother daughter relationship. It’s just a hot mess of lameness. Not worth the three bucks. Oh, and the narrator must have lost the will to continue too, because in places the mother’s voice is the teenage girl, as if even the narrator had quit listening.
