Four-story that is supposed to be basically a Chinese cultivation style story with many of its roots this is only mediocre. I know this is supposed to be an origin story but it really doesn’t follow the basic theme that runs through many of the cultivation stories of a nearly powerless main character changing through the course of the story becoming more powerful and able to stand on his own. If the rest of the books continue like this one, I am going to be highly disappointed.
