This book is absolute chefs kiss! Unfortunately, it won’t stand on its own. Must have the full series but each book is worth it. Book is based on a game characters point of view moving through floors of a game after “earth” was destroyed by aliens and everyone was forced to either go into the dungeon and be a part of the “game” or stay outside and die. The book only covers a floor or two each, I do wish there was more, but it moves at a good pace. The cat characters makes this book hilarious. The best part is sometimes it is hard to piece out what exactly a place being described may look like, or how something may work within the game, which makes it a fantastic book to be able to listen to more than once. I usually am done with a book once I’ve gone through it the first time, this was perfect.
