I read a similar story once, so I wasn’t going in blind. I also have not listened to the 1st 2 books, so maybe a little blind. That being said, I really liked this. It has humor and romance, action and adventure, along with life and death situations. It’s very good and keeps you on your toes. Joel Leslie does an outstanding job as usual. He is able to narrate each character with a unique voice discernable from other characters. This is very fortunate due to how many characters there are. Also, I have a horrible time keeping up with characters when listening to a book, so the different voices help alot.
