A long wait only to have mixed feelings about the book.

The MC was getting very preachy about always wanting to be the good guy and that took away from enjoying the story. At several points in the story the MC was willing to turn his back on nearly everyone and everything he has built in order to stand in the light and be a good guy. These sections of the book detracted a lot from the overall story.
